‘Everyone’ is watching your post on Facebook? Check out

The setting of about one and a half million users has become ‘erratic’ due to a mistake in the settings of the popular social site Facebook. Due to this problem, even though the user’s post was not made public, it is still running ‘public’. Let us know this news comes right after Facebook’s privacy issues, where the user was accused of camouflaging personal data. Erin Egan, Facebook’s chief privacy officer, said in a statement: Once posted, it will automatically become ‘public’ and everyone will be able to see it.

According to Facebook, the aggrieved users are suffering from May 18 to May 27. As a result, users complain about their posts appearing in public instead of ‘specific user’ and ‘friend only’. Facebook says it corrected these issues on May 22nd, but is not able to change this setting in all user posts. Therefore, the company has sent a notification to the user warning them to change their ‘public’ option.

“Starting today, we’re notifying everyone to check their posts so there’s no interference in their settings. Obviously this bug didn’t hurt people anymore. We apologize for this mistake,” Egan said.

New features are coming

Talking about the new feature, fast dating can be enjoyed on Facebook. The company’s chief executive Mark Zuckerberg revealed this at Facebook’s annual conference. He said the world’s largest social site is taking steps to help people become romantic dependents.

Speaking to software developers at Facebook’s annual conference, Zuckerberg said the dating service would connect more people. “Currently 200 million people have declared themselves‘ single ’on Facebook, which looks like something should be done,” he says.
