
Google Assistant now understands your questions in Hindi
Google Assistant currently has limited support for Hindi. You can give your order to the assistant in Hindi. For this, you need to activate the virtual assistant by saying “Hey Google” or “OK Google”. The assistant will then write the command in English but you will get the answer in Hindi. In addition to these, you can translate your Hindi inquiry into English to get answers from Google Assistant. Depending on the availability of results you will get feedback in Hindi or English.
A Google spokesperson told Gadgets3360 that Hindi support for Google assistants has not yet been introduced. And currently this support is available in the light messaging app as well as in Google Assistant. However, the company has made it clear that the assistant now supports selected Hindi searches.
To understand your Hindi query by Google Assistant, the user needs to set English (India) as the primary language on his Android device. Setting English (India) as the primary language Settings> Language and input> Language> Add a language> English (India) Once it’s done, you’ll need to press the Home button for a long time and then tap the microphone icon at the bottom or say “Hey Google” or “Ok Google” to use Hindi in Google Assistant. . It is worth noting that the new feature will not work when you set Hindi as the primary language on Android devices.
We tested Hindi searches in Google Assistant on several smartphones running Android Orio and Naogaon and it worked fine too. This feature is expected to work on older Android versions as well, as Google Assistant recently got support for Android 5.0 Lollipop and later Android versions.
At the Google for India event held last year, Google has partnered with local partners and news providers to increase the content of the assistants.
