Google Maps will now show you more precise ways to add code

Google on Tuesday announced the addition of a plus code to Google Maps in New Delhi. In fact, these are the region and local code that will enable Google Maps to know the user’s address. In addition, users will now have access to voice in 6 other languages (Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam). Google says users will now be able to quickly change their voice navigation to another language in the app. In addition to these the company is now focusing on showing the address more accurately in the app and giving better results.

As we have said before, Google Maps will add a plus code to India leading to a better experience. The Google Maps team said, “To generate a plus code, you need to zoom in on the user’s location. You need to enter the location’s PIN and then tap on the PIN and view the code.” And sharing with another user would also be convenient.

Now in Google search, location information will be provided via plus code. Plus codes are currently available for Android. These will be introduced for iOS later. The feature has been brought to Map My India, which debuted last year. Google said, “The company is in talks with the government to increase the Plus code. We have already worked on the Plus code, including Book My Show.”

The “Add an address” feature has been added to Google Maps. To do this, the user must enter the name of the Google Maps app – search for a location (say Kannat Place) – location – house or apartment. The application will then start searching for the requested location via satellite. After that, address, city, state and zip code options will be provided.
