
Hike has partnered with Airtel Payment Bank for a digital wallet
Pathik Shah, Vice President, Hike Messenger Products, said in a statement, “We are excited and looking forward to bringing more Indians online with Airtel and enabling them to facilitate their transaction services.”
Under the partnership, Hike Messenger users will be able to use Airtel Payment Bank and Utility Payment Services and KYC infrastructure. This messaging platform has over 100 million users. Whose number is increasing by 30 per cent every month.
Airtel Payment Bank CEO A.K. Ganesh said, “We are very happy to partner with Hike. Through this we will create a world-class digital payment ecosystem. Our digital banking infrastructure will be fully supported.” Currently, a joint venture between Hike Bharati Enterprise and Softbank Corporation, Hike handles more than 10 billion messages and three billion stickers per month.
