New feature in WhatsApp Payments, now you can send money like this


The UPI-based WhatsApp payment platform has already knocked in India. Now users can send directly to the UPI ID feature. In other words, it is now possible to pay through UPI ID without going to private / group chat. The new feature can be adopted in the WhatsApp app – Settings – Payment – Payment Send – UPI ID (at the top of the contact list).

Put UPID in it, transfer nominal funds. Previously, the user had to tap the attachment or plus button to convert. Now if the number is not attached, payment can be made directly by entering the UPI ID. Please note, UPI ID can be obtained from any public, private payment bank. The new feature is currently v 2.18. Available as a stable version of the iPhone for iPhone users.

This version of Android is available as WhatsApp Beta V2.18.75. Apart from this, a new notification button has also been provided on WhatsApp, which will notify the user about the completion of the payment. Notification will also be sent to the sender through this. The new feature was spotted by a Twitter user. WhatsApp Payment comes at a time when digital payment apps like Google Tej and Paytm are already available in the country.

A few days after the launch, there were also allegations that WhatsApp payments were not credible. WhatsApp has now responded to these complaints with the ‘Send to UPI ID’ button with corrections. The new feature will tell the upcoming time how much it will affect customers competing with Paytm and other digital payments.
