WhatsApp has ‘swipe to answer’ feature in Android app

WhatsApp has already released the ‘Swipe to Reply’ feature for the iPhone app. Now this feature has become a part of the WhatsApp Android app. This feature will allow users to send instant messaging app feedback. The Swipe to Reply feature has been made part of the WhatsApp Beta 2.18.300 app. Note that in June last year, WhatsApp iPhone users got the same feature. There are also reports that Facebook’s messaging platform is going to bring a dark mode that will make the background a bit darker. This will put less strain on the user’s eyes when using WhatsApp in low light or at night. At the moment, nothing is said about the Dark Mode timeline. But a report last week soon discussed making the feature part of the Android and iOS platforms. On the other hand, you will now be able to use external sticker packs on WhatsApp.

Using the WhatsApp Beta 2.1118.300 Android app, users will now be able to reply to any message with just a swipe. For this you need to swipe a message to the right, then WhatsApp will send the message automatically. This message will be placed in a citation form above the text box so you can easily identify it. Previously, you had to tap and hold the message for a while to respond to a specific message. Next, the answer bar must be selected from the top bar.

With the new gesture support, it has become easier for the user to reply to any message. Especially in the WhatsApp group, this is a great feature for replying to a message.

To download the latest WhatsApp beta app on your Android device you need to be part of the official Google Play beta program. You can also download this app from APK Mirror if you want. It is hoped that this feature will be available to the general public in the coming days.

WhatsApp will now have the facility to download sticker packs from outside the app, WabetaIinfo tweeted. It has been claimed that there will be a ‘Get More Sticker’ option for the user, which will open Google Play. Users will be able to download other apps stickers from here. It is possible to launch a separate WhatsApp stickers app.

WhatsAppBINFO claims that external sticker support will be activated soon. However, no official statement came from WhatsApp.
